Compensation: Up to $130,000 annually

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing production organization. This is a hands-on technical leadership role offering significant ownership and autonomy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing enterprise systems, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity operations while driving technology initiatives that support business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Manage enterprise systems including Active Directory, Group Policy, device management, and Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams). Oversee virtualization platforms such as Hyper‑V or Proxmox, and handle identity lifecycle processes, access controls, disaster recovery planning, backups, and technical documentation. Design, support, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks; configure wireless, firewalls, VPNs, and authentication systems; implement segmentation for manufacturing environments; and monitor network performance for reliability and security. Lead cybersecurity operations as the primary technical owner, partnering with MDR providers, managing alerts and incident response, administering endpoint protection, certificates, keys, and access controls, and conducting ongoing audits and risk assessments. Support compliance initiatives, document and remediate gaps, evaluate vendors and technologies, manage service expectations, and drive infrastructure projects from planning through stabilization.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of five years of hands-on experience supporting Windows server and Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Strong expertise with:
  • Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Exchange Online and Microsoft 365 administration
  • Enterprise networking, wireless technologies, and firewalls
  • Virtualization technologies and cloud services
  • Backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity operations, access controls, and incident response.
  • Excellent documentation, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred

  • Experience within production, aerospace, or defense environments.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks supporting regulated manufacturing industries.
  • Experience working with MDR platforms such as CrowdStrike, Arctic Wolf, or Huntress.
  • Microsoft certifications such as AZ-104, MS-102, SC-300, or equivalent.
  • Experience managing IT vendors and leading infrastructure projects.
