About the Role

We are looking for a sharp, security-focused Application Security Analyst II to join a growing IT Security team. In this role, you will help protect enterprise applications by identifying vulnerabilities, supporting secure development practices, and working closely with development teams to remediate security issues before production deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform application security testing including SAST and DAST scans
• Identify vulnerabilities and work with developers on remediation strategies
• Support and improve the application security review process
• Assist with threat modeling and secure code review activities
• Help develop application security standards and best practices
• Research emerging security threats, tools, and techniques
• Support secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) practices
• Assist with data protection, cryptography, IAM, and security configuration practices

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of technical information security experience
  OR 3 years of hands-on secure code review or development experience
• Previous Security Analyst or Application Security experience preferred
• Development experience in Java, .NET, or similar languages
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and mitigation techniques
• Experience with secure software development and application security tools
• Familiarity with threat modeling and secure system design
• Experience with deployment automation and security configuration management preferred
• Relevant certifications such as Security+ (or in progress) preferred
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
