About the Role

We are seeking a strategic Application Product Manager to own and drive the lifecycle of enterprise Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) applications. This role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT, ensuring enterprise platforms are aligned with organizational priorities, user needs, security standards, and long-term strategy.

You will lead roadmap development, vendor coordination, system enhancements, and value realization for major enterprise systems, including ERP and EAM platforms. This is a high-impact role focused on governance, delivery discipline, adoption, and measurable business value — not hands-on development or direct people management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the enterprise COTS application portfolio

  • Develop and execute multi-quarter product roadmaps aligned to business objectives

  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into prioritized backlogs

  • Define and track KPIs/OKRs such as system availability, adoption, and cost efficiency

  • Lead evaluation, selection, and implementation of enterprise applications

  • Oversee full application lifecycle: planning, implementation, optimization, and retirement

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, vendors, and consultants

  • Ensure applications meet security, compliance, and data governance standards

  • Manage vendor relationships, SLAs, licensing, and support models

  • Support change management, user adoption, and go-live readiness activities

  • Prepare executive updates and portfolio health reports

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (IT, Business, Computer Science, or related field; experience may substitute up to four years)

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise applications, product ownership, or business systems

  • Experience supporting or managing large-scale systems (ERP, EAM, CRM, or similar platforms)

  • Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, hybrid, waterfall)

  • Experience with vendor management and enterprise SaaS environments

  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions

  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills

  • Experience managing multiple priorities in complex environments

Preferred Experience:

  • Public sector or regulated industry experience

  • Experience supporting procurement activities (RFI/RFP) and business case development

  • Budget forecasting and financial tracking for technology initiatives
