About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer to help strengthen and modernize enterprise security architecture and operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on security professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and wants to play a key role in advancing Zero Trust initiatives, enhancing monitoring capabilities, and improving overall security posture.

You will partner closely with IT and business teams to design, implement, and maintain security controls while ensuring systems and processes are well documented, sustainable, and scalable.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise security controls and solutions

  • Support security architecture initiatives including Zero Trust, IAM, endpoint, and network security

  • Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, system documentation, SOPs, and runbooks

  • Partner with IT teams to identify vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation efforts

  • Support and participate in incident response activities and procedural improvements

  • Enhance monitoring, alerting, and managed detection and response (MDR) capabilities

  • Provide security guidance for infrastructure, cloud services, and new technology implementations

  • Participate in risk assessments, control reviews, and compliance initiatives


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (experience may substitute for education up to four years)

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in information, systems, or network security

  • Strong understanding of security frameworks, risk management, and control best practices

  • Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, IAM, and monitoring tools

  • Familiarity with cloud security and Zero Trust architectures

  • Ability to document technical processes clearly and effectively

  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

Preferred Certifications: CISSP, CISM, GIAC, Security+, CCSP
