You’ll be the tactical lead in fortifying perimeter defenses, managing threat response, and driving compliance—all while navigating the complexities of modern enterprise networks. If you thrive in high-stakes environments and bring mastery in F5 BIG-IP and Palo Alto NGFWs, this is your arena.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Security Architecture

  • Implement advanced traffic management, SSL inspection, and application-layer protections.
  • Integrate firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and access controls across hybrid environments.

Threat Detection & Incident Response

  • Monitor and triage alerts from F5 and Palo Alto platforms; lead forensic investigations and containment.
  • Maintain and refine playbooks for zero-day threats, lateral movement, and DDoS mitigation.

Vulnerability Management

  • Conduct scans and penetration tests; remediate findings across network layers and cloud endpoints.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to apply patches and harden configurations.

Policy & Compliance

  • Develop and enforce security policies aligned with NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS.
  • Lead internal audits and ensure regulatory readiness across enterprise systems.

Security Enablement

  • Deliver targeted training on secure access, phishing defense, and endpoint hygiene.
  • Champion a proactive security culture across technical and non-technical teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
  • 3–5 years in enterprise network security roles
  • Hands-on expertise with:
    • F5 BIG-IP (LTM, ASM, APM)
    • Palo Alto NGFWs (PanOS, GlobalProtect, App-ID, Threat Prevention)
  • Strong grasp of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing protocols
  • Experience with SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and automation (Python, PowerShell)
  • Certifications preferred: CISSP, PCNSE, F5-CTS, CCNP Security
