About the Role

We're seeking an organized, people-focused Human Resources Coordinator to support the daily operations of a growing Human Resources department. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and HR compliance while serving as a trusted resource for employees across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the full recruitment process, including posting positions, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and preparing offer letters.
  • Manage the onboarding process, including background checks, I-9 verification, orientations, and new hire documentation.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, payroll, benefits, and general HR matters.
  • Assist with benefits enrollment, leave administration, workers' compensation, and timekeeping.
  • Support payroll processes by maintaining accurate employee information and processing time-off requests.
  • Monitor compliance with federal, state, and company employment regulations.
  • Prepare HR reports and assist with audits and compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate employee training, performance review processes, recognition programs, wellness initiatives, and company events.
  • Manage employee offboarding, including HRIS updates, access removal, and company equipment collection.
  • Provide general administrative support for HR projects and department initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field with 1–2 years of HR experience, or
  • Associate degree with 3+ years of Human Resources experience, or
  • 5+ years of administrative experience supporting Human Resources functions.
  • Experience with recruiting, onboarding, payroll support, benefits administration, and employee records management.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws including FMLA, FLSA, HIPAA, ERISA, Title VII, and related HR regulations.
  • Experience using HRIS platforms such as Paycom, Workday, Rippling, Taleo, Fountain, or similar systems.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • HR certification (aPHR, SHRM-CP, or actively pursuing certification).
  • Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environments.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001.
