Accounting Manager

Location: Onsite, M-F
Salary: 

Summary:
Lead and supervise accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. Assist senior leadership in strategic planning, cost analysis, forecasting, and policy development. Manage internal controls, payroll, and benefits administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and regulations.
• Develop internal controls and streamline accounting processes.
• Manage payroll, 401(k) administration, and tax reporting.
• Mentor and lead the accounting team.
• Support audits and provide strategic financial insights.
• Conduct annual budget preparation and workers' comp audits.

Qualifications:

• CPA preferred or required within 2 years.
• Master’s in Accounting or related field with 4+ years of experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role, or 8 years of equivalent experience.
• Proficient in financial analysis, reporting, and compliance.

Skills:

• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of GAAP, payroll systems, and financial software.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Work Environment:

• Primarily office-based with occasional outdoor or warehouse visits.
• Requires sitting, walking, and occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs).
