Title of Position: Senior Compliance Analyst

Department: Compliance Assurance Department

Reports to:  Director of Compliance Assurance

Overall Responsibility:
This individual will perform monitoring and advisory functions of the Enterprise-wide Compliance Assessment and Advisory Program.  This position is accountable for scheduling and implementing compliance calculation reviews to: Identify gaps between applicable laws, rules, regulations and documented company policies, practices, processes, procedures;
This individual will also document findings, make references to elude future compliance gaps, tract agreed upon remediation determinations.  An overall compliance assessment is needed in the area or unit evaluated on its ability to maintain compliant operations. The individual will monitor and provide its best advice on interpretation of laws, rules and regulations. Assesses member complaints from the NCUA Office of Consumer Protection and other channels in order to coordinate business unit responses for resolution and assess potential compliance risks.  Authenticates and files company’s Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) data and compiles Fair Lending Risk Assessments.

Consults with:  Operations and Executive Leadership

Qualifications:
Required Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management or related degree
Previously worked in a highly cross-functional/matrix environment leading compliance initiatives.
2+ years Compliance, Risk, Audit experience with proven ability to proactively collaborate with colleagues and management.
Experience reading, understanding and interpreting regulations, laws, and statutes.
Experience working in a Financial Institution and with auditors and regulatory agencies, including NCUA, FDIC, OCC or CFPB.
5+ years Financial Industry experience, specifically in a Financial Depository Institution.

Salary Range: $60K-$68K
