Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment Support:

    • Assist with job posting, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.
    • Coordinate pre-employment background checks and reference checks.
  2. Onboarding and Offboarding:

    • Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
    • Process employee terminations and conduct exit interviews.
  3. Employee Records Management:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
    • Prepare and file paperwork related to employee status changes, such as promotions, transfers, and terminations.
  4. Benefits Administration Support:

    • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and inquiries.
    • Coordinate with benefits providers and support open enrollment processes.
  5. HR Program Support:

    • Assist with the implementation and administration of HR programs, such as performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
    • Coordinate employee recognition programs and events.
  6. Policy and Compliance:

    • Assist with the development and communication of HR policies and procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  7. General Administrative Support:

    • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and handling correspondence.
    • Prepare reports and presentations as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in HR or administrative roles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations is a plus.

Additional Requirements:

  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A proactive and customer-focused approach to HR support.
